Pathways FAQ’s

Q: When will Pathways be launched:
A: District 33 will start using Pathways in late 2017.

Q: What will happen to the current Toastmasters Educational Program?
A: There will be at least a two year overlap between the two programs.

Q: What if I am in the middle of my progress toward my DTM?
A: You can continue to work on your progress towards the DTM in the current program for two years. Now is a great time to focus on your current educational goals.

Q: Will my progress in the current program transfer to the new Pathways?
A: Unfortunately, no. Since the two programs are so different from one another, there is no way to transfer current credit to the new program. It is recommended that you finish your current DTM in the two year window. However, there are several higher level district leadership credits that do count towards the new Pathways program. Ask your Ambassador for more details.

Q: I’m a new Toastmaster. Should I start my CC and CL?
A: Yes. The CC and CL are excellent programs and worth doing even if you decide to start Pathways next year. Many advanced Toastmasters do the CC and CL many times over.

Q: How do I find out more?
A: Ambassadors and the TI website have more information.
